Actors

The two base classes, the built-in primitive actors, and the decorator that makes a command editor-facing.

An actor owns state and the commands that move it. Everything else — rendering, layout resolution, timing — is the runtime’s job.

Base classes

Almost every actor extends LayoutActor. Extend Actor directly only when the thing genuinely has no box — a clock, a controller, a coordinator.
